Making it easier for everyone to get around

Customer using a train boarding rampSydney Trains has an ongoing commitment to provide a passenger rail service that gives access to all our customers, including the elderly, customers with a disability and those travelling with prams, young children or luggage.

All new stations and trains are accessible, and access to services, facilities and information is getting better all the time.

Stations marked as wheelchair accessible have level, ramp or lift access to all platforms. However, not every entrance at every accessible station may be wheelchair accessible.

Selected stations have accessible features such as:

  • Ramps
  • Lifts
  • Tactile tiles on the edge of platforms
  • Continuous handrails
  • Accessible ticket counters
  • Hearing loops at ticket office windows
  • Accessible payphones
  • Accessible audio and visual service information
  • Accessible toilets.

Please check Station details for further details.
