Show you care this Daffodil Day - Friday 28 August 2015

Posted: Monday 24 August 2015

In 2015, Cancer Council hopes to raise $3.3 million in NSW

Half of Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85. Across the country 360,000 Australians currently live with cancer and 350 are told they have the disease every day.

You can help the fight against cancer by remembering to take some money to purchase Daffodil Day merchandise when you catch the train on Daffodil Day, Friday 28 August 2015. More than 800 volunteers will be selling daffodils and pins at 55 Sydney Trains and 19 NSW TrainLink stations.

Train stations are a major source of support for Daffodil Day, with more than 10 per cent of the $3.3 million the Cancer Council hopes to raise in NSW expected to come from generous train customers.
