Planning a night out in the Cross?

Late Night transportFrom Friday 28 September, additional late night weekend bus services will operate from Kings Cross to Town Hall and Railway Square, near Central Station to help people get home safely. There will now be a bus less than every eight minutes, on average.

From Town Hall and Railway Square customers are able to connect with existing NightRide bus services.

The last train to Central Station leaves at 1.44am and the last train to Bondi Junction Station leaves at 1.23am.

Sydney Buses

Route 999 - to Railway Square
Departs every 15 minutes from Macleay Street and Darlinghurst Road, from 1.00am to 5.00am. This service operates in one direction only.

NightRide buses

Route N100 - to Bondi Junction or Railway Square
Runs every 30 minutes between 1.00am and 5.00am in both directions between Bondi Junction and Railway Square.

Route N100 - to Town Hall then Railway Square
This express service departs every 30 minutes from Bayswater Road, from 1.15am to 4.45am. This service operates in one direction only.

Taxi ranks are located in Bayswater Road and Darlinghurst Road. From 12 October, prepaid taxi fares will be in operation. Security guards and staff will be at the two taxi ranks to provide assistance to you and taxi drivers using the prepaid service. Staff will have government approved fare estimators to work out the fare for your destination.
