MyZone tickets expanded to Metro Light Rail services

Metro Light Rail at Market CityFrom Monday 27 June, customers will be able to travel on Metro Light Rail services at no extra cost when purchasing a:

This will mean that you can get to more places using light rail, as well as trains, buses and government ferries in the greater Sydney metropolitan area, with the same ticket.

Light rail customers wishing to travel using any of these tickets, will need to purchase one from the growing network of retail outlets across greater Sydney as well as CityRail stations, prior to boarding.

About Metro Light Rail

Metro Light Rail operates a single route that runs between Central Station in the CBD to Lilyfield in the inner west. Approximately 3.5 million passenger journeys are made each year.

Services run every day with services departing approximately every 10 minutes (every 30 minutes after midnight).

TramLink

CityRail's single, return and weekly TramLink tickets, which provide CityRail and Metro Light Rail travel, will still be available. However some customers may wish to purchase a MyMulti ticket which offers more travel options.
