We're adding an extra day to your MyTrain ticket this October long weekend

Posted: Sunday, 19 September 2010

We're adding an extra day to your MyTrain ticket this October long weekend. This October long weekend we're extending 7 and 14 Day MyTrain tickets by one additional day.

This initiative is part of our 2010 Customer Charter commitment to fast ticket sales and reducing queues for customers following long weekends.

Simply buy your 7 or 14 Day MyTrain ticket between Sunday 26 September and Saturday 2 October inclusive and you'll find its expiry date has been extended by one day.

For example, if you purchase your weekly ticket on Tuesday 28 September, the ticket will be valid for eight days and you will not need to purchase another ticket until Wednesday 6 October, which means you will avoid the return-to-work queues after the long weekend.

Please note this offer does not apply to MyMulti tickets or tickets topped up at ticket vending machines.
