Revesby Station platform changes

From Monday 15 December 2008 there will be some platform changes at Revesby Station.

  • Platform 1: Citybound trains
  • Platform 2: Citybound trains (trains arriving on Platform 2 now head back to the City)
  • Platform 3: East Hills and Macarthur bound (new platform)

Passengers can access Revesby Station from either Marco Avenue or Blamey Street and can take either a lift or stairs to an overhead concourse in order to access platforms 1 and 2.

Platform 3 is at street level on the Blamey Street side of Revesby Station. Passengers travelling towards Macarthur will be able to purchase a ticket from the ticket vending machine on the new Platform 3.

Revesby turnback completed

The Revesby turnback, which is part of the Rail Clearways Plan will be completed on the weekend of 13-14 December.

The construction of the new turnback facility will provide an improved starting point for all-stations services on the Airport & East Hills Line when a new timetable is introduced in the second half of 2009. The construction of the new facility includes a new platform, new pedestrian footbridge, easy access facilities and other upgrading works at Revesby Station.
